Papa Momar holds a degree in Community Development Engineering from the National School of Applied Economics and has extensive experience in the planning and monitoring of public policies, having spent two years as a planning economist in the General Directorate of Planning and Economic Policies, at the Ministry of the Economy, Cooperation and Planning.
Within this post, he was a member of the Regional Development Committee, where he contributed to the monitoring of public policies, and a member of the Regional Committee for the Fight against Malnutrition. He also collaborated with USAID GOLD on the integrated barometer of good governance.
He joined Speak Up Africa in 2020 as a research and policy analysis associate. Since 2021, he has been in charge of the NTD and Immunization portfolio. His work focuses on implementing communication and advocacy strategies to achieve national public health goals.
