Sanitation

Our work includes supporting countries to enact a set of gender sensitive and equitable sanitation policies that incorporate fecal sludge management, amplifying media coverage around sanitation and mobilizing local authorities as active champions. At the national level, we urge country leaders to invest in national initiatives to improve access to safely managed sanitation services across their countries. At the regional level, we work with key institutions to develop regional guidelines and policies to guide sanitation-related policies and position sanitation as a priority on the international agenda.
