Immunization

Immunization is the most effective health intervention we know, saving millions of lives every year. Vaccines can prevent more than 20 life-threatening diseases. Yet, globally, 1 in 5 children still lack access to even the most basic vaccines. We and our partners are committed to increasing immunizations in Africa so that life-saving vaccines reach those who need them the most. We achieve this by raising the profile of immunization on policymakers’ agenda, promoting sustainable resource allocation for immunization, strengthening coalitions and increasing demand for quality immunization services.
