Family planning

Thanks to partners’ collective action, an additional 1.18 million women in Africa are using modern contraceptives since 2011. A stronger focus on women's equality and reproductive health will be essential to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals in Africa. We support and host the Ouagadougou Partnership Coordination Unit (UCPO), which is committed to doubling the number of women using modern contraceptives by 2030.
